Peter Davies
Leader
Peter is the Church Leader, with responsibility for the pastoral care of church and community members, vision casting, and the oversight of all activities run by St. James'. Peter also line-manages the church's staff members and is chairman of the PCC (Parochial Church Council).
Peter believes stongly in "Every Member Ministry" and actively encourages lay initiatives in ministry.

Teacher
Peter served in 2 parishes before moving to Audley in 1988. He trained at Oak Hill Theological college, where an evangelical emphasis inspired in him a passion for teaching biblical truth. Peter has often said "I don't have an original idea in my head. People need God's truth, not my thoughts, but to help explain that truth as clearly as I can, is what God has called me to."

Family Man
Peter is married to Linda and has two daughters. Katherine, a beauty therapist, and Helen, who after graduating at Sheffield is now working for the Royal Bank of Scotland. He and Linda love to walk in the Lake District regularly and enjoy good food, the company of friends and their dog, Boswell
